United Africa is a corporation as defined in subparagraph (a) (5) of Section 102 (Definitions) of the Not-for-Profit Corporations Law.

Through United Africa, Inc., community leaders of New York seeks to partner with governments, communities, local and international groups, professional groups, inter-governmental organizations and other relevant bodies to:

• Explore ways and means at promoting democratic values and selfless leadership among African Youths

• Explore positive ways and means to inform the younger generation of African against corruption, social injustice and other anti-social vices

• Explore ways and means at creating massive campaigns on political rights, awareness, social rights, economic rights and other fundamentals human rights as enshrined in the United Nations Human rights charter using all local and national languages

• Explore ways and means to initiate Legislation in African parliaments that focuses on promoting youth upliftment and empowerment

• Provide health assistance to the needy by providing information and referrals on a “Non-Fee basis” to the appropriate agency

• Assistance in providing food and shelter on a “Non-Fee basis” to the needy by providing information and referrals to the appropriate agency.

• Unite Africa and Africans in the Diaspora by participating in, hosting events and celebrations, and engaging in practices that promotes Africa and Africans for a brighter life.

Nothing herein shall authorize this corporation directly or indirectly to engage or include among its purposes any of the activities mentioned in the not-for-profit corporation law section 404 (b through w).
